The Project will address the issue of child abuse through education and advocacy with the main goal of raising awareness and preventing violence against children and youth.
To do so, the Project will implement a child’s rights awareness campaign to highlight the damaging impact of child abuse or adverse childhood experiences (ACEs). It will also make persons better aware of behavioural outcomes, such as risk behaviours and the resultant health consequences.
The campaign will empower youth, families, communities and teachers to speak up. It will also remove barriers and stigmas that get in the way of reporting and provide resource information to protect the most vulnerable.
