For Empowering Women Economically Through Climate Smart Sustainable Livelihoods

This Project will promote sustainable environmental practices through climate smart agriculture by enabling women to become beekeepers and producers of honey and its by-products. Beneficiaries will be women with an emphasis on the unemployed and under-employed. The Project aims to increase the number of women equipped as beekeepers. It promotes sustainable environmental practices and sustainable management of natural resources. It also strengthens climate change adaptation. It will provide communities with essential tools to fight against climate change, poverty and food insecurity.
